Committees
Our committee members consist of seasoned directors and managers of physician and provider recruitment and retention at major health care institutions. Our leadership, who hail from all regions of the U.S. and Canada, bring the latest research, knowledge, and know-how to our members and the physician recruitment profession.
Education/Conference Planning
Selects topics and speakers for the annual educational forum held in spring. Meets in the fall by teleconference twice monthly for one hour until the program is set, then monthly up to conference.

Marketing/Membership
Reviews new member applications and membership criteria, and promotes the organization to potential members. Provides oversight, coordination, and evaluation of the ASPR Mentorship Program and the Corporate Sponsor Program. Reviews, recommends, and implements programs that market ASPR to healthcare executives, medical residency programs, and other healthcare professionals and educators.

The Journal of the ASPR
Oversees the quarterly publication of the Journal of the ASPR. Solicits articles for publication and reviews submitted articles. Meets by teleconference quarterly.

Regional Development
Helps to establish regional and state associations and networks of in-house recruiters whose goals match those of ASPR and to enhance the effectiveness of in-house recruitment organizations besides ASPR.

Strategic Planning and Bylaws
Reviews, evaluates, and recommends changes and additions to the ASPR Strategic Plan. Reviews bylaw changes and makes recommendations to the Board. Meets during the annual conference and by teleconference as required.

Website
Oversees the design and maintenance of the ASPR website. Meets by teleconference monthly or as needed for about one hour.

Benchmarking
The ASPR Benchmarking Committee is working on the development of national benchmarks for the physician recruitment industry.We are committed to developing simple tools that can be used within your day-to-day operations to gather benchmarking information. The committee meets monthly, via teleconference, for one hour per month.
