We are seeking an experienced recruitment professional to fill the role of Manager of Physician Recruitment. The ideal candidate will have 5 years experience in hospital based recruitment, with 3 – 5 years physician recruitment experience preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or related field is required, with a Master’s Degree and PHR status preferred.
Must have demonstrated experience coordinating search and sourcing for targeted physicians using a variety of creative and effective recruitment methods including: professional journals, web advertising, mining websites, direct mail, networking and attendance at meetings and relevant conferences. Flexible work schedule and ability to travel required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required and ability to work with management, physicians, marketing, and other departments at all levels. Experience working with Internet based recruiting, applicant tracking systems, and MS Office is necessary.
Must be self-directed, highly organized, and results oriented. Knowledge of human resources, recruitment practices, and legal issues required.

General Description of Employer The Colorado Rural Health Center (CRHC) is a non-profit organization serving as Colorado’s State Office of Rural Health. CRHC’s mission is “enhancing healthcare services in Colorado by providing information education, linkages, tools & energy toward addressing rural healthcare issues.”
Position Summary: The Director of Workforce Programs reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for the management, oversight and success of the CRHC Workforce programs to achieve recruitment and retention objectives; develop and implement innovative recruitment and retention programs and activities; provide strategic direction to the workforce team to expand placement of physicians and mid-levels medical staff in rural Colorado to strengthen the healthcare workforce.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The following duties and responsibilities are illustrative of the primary functions of this position and are not intended to be all inclusive.
• Accountable for the overall success of the Workforce Department including meeting recruitment objectives. • Monitor the status of all recruitment prospects and analyzes statistical recruiting data to determine effectiveness of plans. • Provide leadership, direction, motivation, and supervision of direct reports. • Successfully develop partnerships and maintain a close working relationship with multiple outside individuals, rural and urban healthcare facilities, medical schools, residency programs, and community organizations to ensure awareness of CRHC programs and services • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures and ethical practices. • Provide strategic direction for multiple programs by developing goals and objectives, defining performance metrics, monitor progress, and report on results, including recruitment goals • Expand market penetration for CPR program and create new business development opportunities through marketing and other outreach methods • Work collaboratively with other CRHC departments and staff to identify new funding opportunities by developing innovative fee for service programs, identifying new grant options, and forging corporate and community partnerships • As directed by the CEO, prepare and submit grant applications and adhere to all grant reporting requirements related to workforce programs • Monitor all program subcontracts for timeliness and compliance • Actively assess healthcare workforce issues and barriers of rural and underserved Colorado and develop and implement programs and services to address those needs • Oversee the development of pertinent program related materials for distribution to a wide range of constituents and business associates • Serve as an ongoing resource statewide regarding current healthcare workforce trends, resources, programs, legislation, and policy • Participate as member of senior leadership team and assist with the successful implementation of CRHC’s strategic plan and organizational activities • Travel and attend multiple meetings and conferences related to healthcare workforce topics in and out of state • Conduct presentations and public speaking engagements to raise awareness about CRHC and its workforce development programs • Assist with program budget development and maintain program expenditures within established parameters • Participate in human resource issues associated with supervision and leadership to the workforce program staff, including annual performance reviews • Maintain open communication with direct reports and program teams
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position is responsible for the supervision of workforce department employees. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources, Marketing, Public Health or similar field. Master’s degree preferred in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Communication, Public Policy, Health Policy, Health Administration, or other related area from an accredited college or university. Five years progressively responsible senior management level experience in physician and mid-level recruitment or other healthcare-related workforce development required. A combination of a Bachelor’s degree and 10 years experience in management and program development, including a minimum of five years advancement management experience and five years healthcare recruitment will be considered. Preference given for rural recruitment and retention experience. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to management and public groups. Ability to compose and respond to general correspondence, memos, reports, and evaluations.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

SUMMARY: Manage and oversee the physician recruitment function with the region.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Direct and oversee recruiting activities of staff physician recruiters in exceeding recruiting goals for the region. Activities include, but are not limited to: utilization of recruiting tools, compensation surveys, assessing individual recruiting plans per contract, and matching candidates to multiple positions in the region and company-wide opportunities.
2. Monitor, recommend, and implement creative, efficient, and cost-effective recruiting procedures.
3. Analyze and report all regional recruiting activity to the regional management team.
4. Manage regional recruiting budget.
5. Serve as a resource and mentor to staff physicians in their recruiting efforts.
6. Identify training and development opportunities for staff physician recruiters.
7. Recruit physicians at a limited number of individual contracts.
8. Other projects and duties as assigned.
Other Responsibilities:
* Work with the other functional managers within the region to ensure efficient credentialing and staffing of physicians. (I.e. Enrollment, Credentialing, Scheduling)
* Follow-up on all questionable references.
*Interact with members of the regional team, including the Regional Operations Director, Regional Chief Operating Officer, and Regional Chief Executive Officer to convey information in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS:
