The long-awaited Benchmarking Report is finally here! On behalf of the ASPR Benchmarking Committee and Board of Directors, we are pleased to present the 2011 ASPR In-House Physician Recruitment Benchmarking Report. This year ASPR offers not only a written report of the survey findings, but also provides a unique Organization Benchmarking Report (OBR) that compares participant results to similar organizations nationally. Additionally, we are very excited to launch a new feature to the survey: searchable results. In collaboration with Industry Insights, ASPR has arranged to have all reported data placed into a web-based database, which allows users to mine national data for export and is accessible to all who participate or purchase results. If you participated in the survey, you will have free access to the Report, your unique Organization Benchmarking Report, and the searchable results. You should have received an email directly from Industry Insights regarding access. If you did not participate this year, you may purchase the Report and access to the searchable data. Learn more and access the Report in the Benchmarking section of the ASPR website.
Thank you to those of you who participated in the ASPR Member Survey back in February! We learned some very valuable information that has helped us with planning our webinar series, increasing our social media presence, upgrading our website, and many other member benefit related decisions.
In order to make ASPR an even greater resource to our current members and to attract new members, ASPR has commissioned Aloysius, Butler, & Clark to help us with some research and marketing assistance. As decisions about the particulars of the health care reform bill continue to forge their way through the Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, new healthcare concepts, strategies and business models continue to arise. One such emerging concept is the Accountable Care Organization (“ACO”). The ACO is defined as an organization of health care providers that agrees to be accountable for the quality, cost, and the overall care of Medicare beneficiaries are enrolled in the traditional fee-for-service program. ACO’s could transform the delivery and financial components of healthcare. The Webinar will examine the aspects of ACO development, challenges, strategies and the efforts nationally to better manage a patient population’s quality of health end expenses.
