ASPR could not be the amazing association that it is without our dedicated member volunteers. The ASPR Board of Directors and Committee Co-Chairs volunteer countless hours as leaders of the organization providing strategic direction and program implementation. The time, effort, and dedication of our leaders are evidenced by the many valuable programs and benefits that provide professional growth opportunities for our members.
At the 18th ASPR Annual Conference held in Chicago this week, the official transition of several of our Committee Co-Chairs took place. Some of our outgoing Committee Co-Chairs have been in their roles since the early days of ASPR. On behalf of ASPR membership, we’d like to thank the following Committee Co-Chairs for their dedication and service to our organization:
Outstanding Service Awards were presented at the Annual Business Meeting to Laura Screeney and Dennis Burns in recognition of their many years of hard work and dedication to the Journal and Regional Relations Committees respectively. Laura and Dennis have been icons as their committee leaders!Thank you all for your dedication and service! We’re pleased that we will not lose your knowledge and expertise as you will all continue working with your respective committees as members!
Please join us in welcoming ASPR’s newest Committee Co-Chairs into their leadership roles!
We’re excited to have you all on board! Thank you for stepping up and volunteering as a leader for our organization!

The physician market continues to tighten along with recruitment budgets. In order to maximize efforts and resources it’s vital that in house staffs track and report on their efforts and success. Joey Klein, Senior Physician Recruiter at Cleveland Clinic will present a webinar covering the basic metrics that his office tracks. Discussion will cover how/why a good tracking system is necessary, what statistics are tracked and reported and how the results are interpreted. Jason Crepeau from Healthcare Source’s Physician Recruitment Manager will briefly speak on how to customize an “off the shelf” ATS.
Upon completion of this webinar, participants should be able to understand the importance of accurate data tracking and report formulation. Participants will understand the value of tracking a variety of recruitment metrics.
The growth and success of ASPR is attributable in large part to the support of ASPR’s Corporate Contributors. Please join us in welcoming our newest Bronze Corporate Contributor, the American Academy of Neurology and if you do business with them, please thank them for their support. When you have a need for products or services, please consider our Corporate Contributors, many of which offer ASPR Member discounts.
