Member Benefits Highlight: A Trip to the ASPR Resource Library

ASPR has an archive of documents that are helpful for in-house physician recruitment professionals of all levels of experience. These documents cover a vast array of topics and serve as a great point of reference for various tasks involved with physician recruitment. Here are just some of the categories of resources that you’ll find in the ASPR Resource Library:

  • Credentialing
  • Forms (every kind you can imagine!)
  • Medical Staff Development Plans
  • Onboarding
  • Retention
  • Relocation
  • Screening Candidates
We are always looking for additional resources to add, so please send sample policies and documents to joef@aspr.org to help enrich our library!

Question of the Week: How is your Hospitalist Program Staffed?

ASPR will begin hosting a “Question of the Week” on our website homepage. Please participate in these quick one questions surveys as it will help ASPR collect some very valuable data on physician recruitment best practices and trends that we would otherwise not be able to collect without creating a lengthy survey.

This week’s Question of the Week is:

How are the inpatients cared for in your local hospital?

  1. Hospitalists employed by the hospital provide coverage
  2. Hospitalist staffing company provides coverage
  3. Community physicians round on patients (no formal hospitalist program)
  4. Combination of community physicians and hospital employed Hospitalists
  5. Combination of community physicians and hospital staffing employed Hospitalists
  6. I don’t know

My ASPR Profile – Add Your Picture

A new feature is now available in your My ASPR profile: You are now able to upload your picture to your profile. Your picture will only be seen in the Members Only Directory (not the public directory) and only when someone selects the “Detailed View” (the little icon on the left of the Member’s name).

Why should you upload your picture? Many of us communicate with each other regularly via Chat or through involvement on various ASPR Committees. Wouldn’t it be nice to know what everyone looks like so that if you happen to run into them at the Annual Conference you would recognize them and be able to say hello?

Consider uploading your picture today in My ASPR!
