ASPR Annual Conference Sneak Peak: The New Health Age: the Future of Health Care in America
Registration is now open for the 2012 ASPR Annual Conference! Here is a sneak peak at the Tuesday keynote session.
Nationally known healthcare futurists David Houle and Jonathan Fleece, co-authors of “The New Health Age: the Future of Health Care in America,” will be Tuesday morning’s keynote speakers. This presentation defines and explains the New Health Age America has entered. It sets forth what healthcare and medicine will look like in the years ahead and offers hope and promise for a healthier society. David Houle will first take a look at history, the healthcare system as it exists today, and the current health of Americans. He will then present and explain the nine dynamic flows that will transform healthcare and how these flows will dramatically change the economics and how we think about and deliver healthcare in our country.
Together David and Jonathan will review the definitions and descriptions of the new institutional landscape of healthcare and medicine in the next 10 to 15 years and provide suggestions for what healthcare providers, legislators, and educators can do to succeed in the years ahead. Cutting-edge issues that physician recruiters need to know will also be addressed as the speakers will intelligently shape and guide the discussion of reorganization of healthcare reform in America.
David Houle is a futurist, advisor, and speaker. He has always been slightly ahead of the curve. Houle spent more than 20 years in media and entertainment. He has worked at NBC, CBS and was part of the senior executive team that created and launched MTV, Nickelodeon, VH1, and CNN Headline News.
Jonathan Fleece is a leading health care attorney, advisor, and speaker, located in Tampa Bay Florida. He is an expert in health care reform laws, including the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA). Jonathan advises health care companies and professionals regularly how to strategically plan for success during the sweeping changes that are coming in health care over the next decade.
