Hospital Physician Alignment Models - Max Reiboldt, The Coker Group

In light of the need for long-term planning and integration strategies, this session will explore various alignment models, key factors to fair market value, the process and timeline to align, as well as other key factors in the alignment process.
The Strategy Behind the “ists” - Why the Trend? - Craig Holm, Health Strategies and Solutions; Allen Kram, FASPR, Health Quest
As today’s physicians focus on a lifestyle driven practice, the numbers and types of hospital dedicated specialists have increased dramatically. In this session we will provide an overview of these trends and whether they are here to stay. We will explore not only what has lead to the increase in the use of the “ists” (hospitalists, laborists, nocturnists, intensivists and surgicalists), but how this trend will become integral to your organization’s alignment strategies. We will also look at how your organization will need to adapt in order to attract and retain this new breed of physicians.
The New Health Age: Payment & Compensation Models of the Future - Jonathan Fleece, New Health Age Advisors
This session will address the transformational new health care payment models of the future and how they will impact hospital profitability and provider compensation. Topics will include Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), Employer Accountable Care Organizations (EACOs), directorships, co-management arrangements, and call coverage contracts. Additionally, the session will include comments on physician compensation oversight and regulatory compliance in this era of heightened healthcare fraud enforcement.
The New Paradigm: Incorporating Advanced Practice Providers in Provider Staffing Models - Judy Brown, FASPR, Children’s Hospital & Clinics of Minnesota; Lynne Peterson, FASPR, Fairview Health Services

The advent of video enabled interviewing is changing the landscape of physician recruitment. While video interviews won’t replace personal interviews, they provide for several advantages to both the hiring organization as well as the interviewing candidate. Organizations that have begun utilizing video enabled interviewing and screening are reaping the rewards of time and financial savings. How is this technology being used? When is video better than phone or in-person - and when is it not? What are the pros and cons of video interviews? How do I sell my local physicians on its use? This webinar will answer these questions and more. The presenters will discuss trends in video interviewing and provide you with first hand experiences from physician recruiters that have utilized this technology as part of their recruitment efforts.
