Yes – I am the inaugural president of SEPRA (Southeast Physician Recruiter Association)
Have you been a member or Officer of any other Non-Profit Organizations?
Yes – I have served in several roles at my children’s school PTA. I served as Treasurer 2 years and am currently a Class Room Representative. I am also the team manager/treasurer for my daughter’s select soccer team. I serve on the Missions team for my church and we are currently preparing to travel to India in November for a 2 week mission trip.
What qualifications do you possess that will assist you in succeeding as a member of the ASPR Board of Directors?
I have a strong belief that teamwork is essential to any organization and have always been recognized by my executive leadership as being able to bring differing points of view to the table for a common cause and goal. I am a one person department at Erlanger and believe that I have a strong work ethic and organizational skills that bring value to ASPR.
Why do you wish to serve on the ASPR Board of Directors?
When I first joined ASPR, I was still a rookie recruiter, learning as much as I could absorb. I attribute most of my knowledge base to the ASPR organization, the fellowship series and networking with members, as well as a lot of trial and error. I don’t believe you can quantify what ASPR has provided me, but I believe in “paying it forward” and giving back to organizations who have served me well and many others. I look forward to using my leadership skills that I have gained in other roles and developing them to a higher level. I would be honored to continue serving on the board.
