Greetings ASPR,

As I reflect back on this year’s 25th annual conference, it’s with a sense of pride in ASPR’s history, growth and accomplishments.

I am proud of our ASPR Education Committee, led by Robin, Jennifer and Allen, along with the ASPR team at Ewald Consulting, as they were able to pull off a second conference in less than a year.

I am proud to announce that we had record attendance of 765 in Orlando.

I am proud of the quality of education presented during our main session. Quint Studer and Eric Wahl were amazing keynote speakers, as well as every other expert that shared their talent and wisdom with us- we thank you.

I am proud of our fellowship committee led by Mike Griffin, Lynne Peterson, Marci Jackson and Allen Kram, and all of the ASPR members who volunteer to teach our fellowship program modules year after year.

I am proud of our new class of fellows as well as the individuals who re-certified this year. (KH Getting these #’s.) I am proud of our outgoing board of directors, for their selfless dedication to ASPR. Thank you: Debbie Gleason, Allan Kram, Michelle Seifert and Shelly Tudor for your commitment, your wisdom and your friendship.

I am proud to welcome our new ASPR board of directors members. Welcome Jennifer Fedderson, Kate Radar, Lynne Peterson and Robin Schiffer; thank you for embarking on this new challenge.

I am proud to continue to serve on the board of directors alongside our remaining board members: Frank Gallagher, Donna Ecclestone and Lee Moran who will continue to serve this organization with a strong sense of dedication and commitment.

I am proud of the work of all of the volunteers that keep this organization going year after year.

Most of all, I am proud of you, our members. You are a group of extraordinary individuals who work tirelessly for your organizations and your communities. You embrace new members, welcome new vendors and make our speakers feel right at home. Most importantly, you are transforming healthcare in your communities.

So, during this 25th anniversary year, may we all take time to reflect on the lives we have changed, the career paths we have chosen and please, take time to celebrate your success!

Congratulations, ASPR; here’s to the next 25!

Warm Regards,
Laura Screeney, FASPR, President, ASPR
