Forums are coming!
ASPR is excited that we will be able to offer Internet forums to our members when we launch our new website.
An Internet forum - or message board - is an online discussion site where people can hold conversations in the form of posted messages. The forums will differ from the ASPR Chat in that forum messages will be archived. Forums have a specific set of jargon associated with them; e.g., a single conversation is called a "thread," or topic.
ASPR has come up with a list of great forum topics like ASPR Forum Marketing and Sourcing, leadership programs, employment law, compensation, advanced practice provider recruitment and many more. These forums will be a place where you can ask questions, share best practices and communicate with other members about topics that are important to you. With the new forums, you can post photos, hyperlinks and videos.
You’ll be able to access the forums through your member profile and can subscribe to forums that are of interest to you. Your subscription will allow you to be notified of new postings that appear in the forum, so you’ll be able to keep up with the discussion.
Like ASPR Chat, the forums will be monitored so you will need to keep ASPRs antitrust guidelines in mind when you share information.
Look for more information about forums later this month!
