President Frank Gallagher serves as the Director of Provider Recruitment at AtlantiCare, a winner of the 2009 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. The health system is located in coastal southern New Jersey and serves as the region’s largest healthcare organization with more than 5,400 employees and 700 physicians. In his role, Frank is responsible for the development and execution of strategies related to the recruitment of providers across the system’s two hospitals and 70 ambulatory locations.
For the previous five years, Frank worked as a Senior Recruiter and as Interim Director, Physician & Advanced Practitioner Recruitment for Baystate Health. During this time Frank was responsible for the sourcing and hiring of physician faculty members at Baystate Medical Center, the academic medical center of the three-hospital system based in Springfield, Massachusetts.
In August 2012, Frank was elected as Member-at-Large to the Association of Staff Physician Recruiters’ (ASPR) Board of Directors. He was later appointed Chair of Governance and currently serves as the Board of Director’s President. Frank’s prior experience includes terms as the association’s Co-Chair of the Chapter & Regional Relations Committee and as past president of the Academic In-House Recruiters (AIR) Network, a chapter of ASPR.
Frank began his physician recruitment career with Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network in Pennsylvania, an academic community health system, where he worked as a Physician Recruiter starting in 2004. Prior to his career in physician recruitment, Frank gained valuable experience in Human Resources as an HR Generalist and HR Manager, as well as a Corporate Recruiter.
Frank received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Temple University and earned a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Widener University. Frank and his wife, Marcella, reside in Linwood, NJ with their five children.

President-Elect, Lynne Peterson, FASPR, is the Director of Physician and Advanced Practice Provider recruitment at Fairview Health Services in Minneapolis, MN.
Lynne Peterson is the Director of Physician Recruitment for Fairview Health Services an integrated health system located in Minnesota. Lynne and her team also work closely with Fairview’s academic partner, the University of Minnesota, assisting the University with their recruitment needs for Advance Practice Providers and Fairview related Academic Physician positions.
Lynne has been in the Physician Recruitment industry since 1991 and joined the Association of Staff Physician Recruiters in 1995. During Lynne’s time as a member of ASPR, she has had an impressive background of service to ASPR as past Secretary of the Board, former Co-Chair of Strategic Planning and Bylaws committee and by participating in the Education and Benchmarking committee over the years. She was also Co-Chair of the Fellowship committee, which advanced the organization’s educational opportunities and certification process for our members.

Treasurer Kate Rader, FASPR, is the Manager, Faculty Recruitment Support at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX, a position she initiated based her prior experience as a faculty recruiter at Cleveland Clinic.
Kate was recognized by ASPR leadership as Volunteer of the Year in 2013 at our Annual Business Meeting. She served as Co-Chair of the Chapter and Regional Relations Committee and along with her Co-Chair cooperatively supported the new leaders of TexASPR, NWSPR, and SEPRA as they progressed into ASPR chapters.
Kate’s background with chapter development was originated by her inaugural leadership roles with ASPR’s first chapter, AIR (Academic In-House Recruiter Network) where she served as Secretary and Membership Chair. She also was the Inaugural President of OAR, the Onboarding and Retention Network, and encouragingly led the team through the process of becoming a chapter.
She has a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Wisconsin – Stout and has extensive experience with event planning and sales. She brings a keen eye for detail and a commitment to move ASPR to the next level to the Treasurer role.

Secretary Donna Ecclestone, FASPR, is the Director of Physician Integration at Duke Medicine. A national speaker and content expert on physician onboarding, Donna is responsible for streamlining and standardizing the onboarding initiatives across Duke’s faculty group practice.
Donna started her career at Duke in 1997 as a staff recruiter for the Office of Medical Staff Recruitment. In 2001 she was promoted to Assistant Director, managing a staff of five in-house recruiters. With the support of leadership, Donna launched the Department of Physician Integration at Duke in 2011 and continues to design and refine onboarding protocols globally across the faculty practice. Donna holds Bachelors in Business Marketing and Management and has over twenty years of recruitment experience in both the in-house and contingency arenas. She has been an ASPR member for 10 years and has served ASPR on fellowship and ethic committees. A founding member of Academic In-House Recruiter networks (AIR), Donna has been actively involved with the growth of AIR, serving as the group’s first President. She was also integrally involved with the launching of OAR, ASPR’s chapter focusing on Onboarding and Retention and served as one of its inaugural officers.

Chair, Communications, Bruce Guyant, DASPR is an accomplished
healthcare recruiting executive with proven

environment. He has twenty years of
experience in the profession of high level talent acquisition
and is currently a Regional Director of Physician Recruiting
for LifePoint Health, a large for profit, publicly traded
hospital corporation based in Nashville, TN and currently the
fifth largest hospital corporation in the United States. In his
current position he has served for 9 years in Utah and has
responsibility for all recruiting functions for 5 rural, acute
care, investor owned, hospitals and clinics in three western
states with multiple service lines and specialties.

Chair, Education, Robin Schiffer, FASPR, is the Director of Physician Recruitment and Physician Relations at MedCentral Health System in Mansfield, OH.
Robin has been Co-Chair of the Education Committee since 2011 and was recently faced with the craziness of organizing two conferences within one year, which she and her Co-Chair did with style and grace.
As Director of Physician Recruitment and Physician Relations since 2010, Robin is responsible for the department's strategic planning and budgeting in addition to managing the sourcing, recruitment and onboarding initiatives, organizing recognition events, and handling patient complaints. Her career history with Med Central has spanned almost 30 years.
Robin received her Bachelor's in Business Administration at Mount Vernon Nazarene University, CPP certification from the American Payroll Association, and Associate Degree in Accounting from Bliss College.

Chair, Engagement, Joelle Hennesey is the Manager of Physician Services at First Physicians Group / Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Sarasota, Florida. She is responsible for recruiting physicians and advanced practice providers for a large 135+ employed multi-specialty group. Joelle has 15 years of experience in physician recruitment and has spent her career of 25 years working in healthcare for large hospitals & health systems in the Philadelphia market and Florida. She started her career as a social worker and was given the opportunity to expand her skill set by taking on jobs that included managed care contracting, business development and strategic planning in both behavioral health and acute care settings.
Joelle has a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, and was part of the first class in ASPR to earn her Fellowship in physician recruitment (FASPR) in 2010. She has been an ASPR member for 11 years and has served on the Education Committee the past six years as a member and also a Chair where she led the committee through the planning of conferences in Los Angeles and Tucson. Chair, Governance, Aisha DeBerry, FASPR serves as the
Manager of Physician Recruitment for
Virginia Commonwealth University Health,
winner of the 2014 AHA-McKesson Quest for
Quality Award. As the preeminent academic

Commonwealth University Health System is committed to

With a staff of two in-house recruiters, Aisha is responsible
for implementing, directing and managing a centralized
team to plan, coordinate and direct all activities for the
recruitment and hiring of physicians and clinical faculty.
Aisha begun her career in healthcare recruitment with HCA
in 2002, and has been in the recruitment industry for nearly
20 years. She joined the Association of Staff Physicians
Recruiters in 2012 and served as Chair of the Membership
Committee for Academic In House Recruiters (AIR).
Aisha received her Bachelor of Science in Communication
from the University of Utah and is currently a MBA
candidate of the 2017 class at Liberty University. She also
has her FASPR certification from ASPR, her PHR certification
from the HR Certification Institute and her SHRM-CP
certification from Society of Human Resource Management.
Aisha resides in Glen Allen, Virginia with her husband John,
and two children, Victoria and Torrance.
Chair, Research, Jennifer Feddersen, FASPR, is the Manager of Executive, Physician and Advance Practice Provider (APP) Recruitment at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, MI.
Jennifer previously held the position of Co-Chair of the ASPR Research Library Committee August 2014- May 2015, prior to assuming the Chair of Research position on the board. Along with her Co-Chair, they have turned the library into an organized, professional resource for ASPR members. Jennifer has also been involved in the Michigan Recruiter and Retention Network (MRRN) since 2006 and is its current President.
As the Manager of Executive, Physician, and APP Recruitment, Jennifer leads a team of four recruiters that cover 6 hospitals and 30 medical centers throughout southeastern Michigan.
Jennifer received her Bachelor's in Science in Human Resource Development from Oakland University and received her Masters of Science in Management and Human Resources from Walsh College. She also has her FASPR certification from ASPR and her PHR certification from the Society of Human Resource Management.
