ASPR Chapters and Special Interest Groups

Chapters

Some ASPR Chapters are regionally based, while others are focused on special interests such as onboarding and retention or academic recruiting. Members of ASPR Chapters receive a $50 discount on their ASPR Membership annual dues. If you're interested in joining an ASPR Chapter, complete the membership application below. Chapter dues will be collected upon your next ASPR Membership annual renewal. Be sure that you meet the Chapter's eligibility criteria listed below before submitting your application.

A Chapter of ASPR is comprised of in-house physician recruitment professionals who have decided to collaborate with each other to meet a shared need that may not be addressed by ASPR on a larger scale. Chapters have a formal written contract with ASPR with defined benefits and responsibilities, and which meets the requirements listed later in this document.  All members of the Chapter are also members of ASPR.

Special Interest Groups

A special interest group is comprised of in-house physician recruitment professionals from across North America (generally not regional) who have a similar special interest in common, for example, a group of in-house physician recruiters who recruit only pediatric specialists.  Some regional groups are incorporated as independent non-profit organizations and some are less formal groups designed to encourage cooperation, collaboration, and/or education for their members. Although some members of the special interest group may also be members of ASPR, the special interest group as an organization does not have any formal affiliation or relationship with ASPR.

Children's Hospital In-House Recruiters Network (CHIRN)
Children's Hospital In-House Recruiters Network (CHIRN) is a special interest chapter that has been added to the ASPR memberships. If you are recruiting for Pediatric-specific positions, this chapter is a great addition to your membership.
