The ASPR Benchmarking Committee is working on the development of national benchmarks for the physician recruitment industry. We are committed to developing simple tools that can be used within your day-to-day operations to gather benchmarking information. The committee meets monthly on the third Wednesday at 12:00 pm CST, via teleconference, for one hour per month.
Suzanne Anderson, FASPR is Associate Director of Medical Staff Recruitment at Duke Medicine. Originally from Ohio, Suzanne received her BS in Marketing from The Ohio State University. Suzanne has worked in the physician recruitment and staffing industry since 1984. Her experience spans multiple venues including locum tenens, contract management, and several business start-ups including building her own hybrid recruitment consulting firm which she ran for over a decade. Suzanne joined Duke in 2006 and enjoys the opportunities and challenges that come with recruiting for a large academic medical center. Suzanne has been a member of ASPR since 2009.
Adam is currently the Director of Physician Recruitment for Care New England Medical Group a 4-hospital system in Rhode Island. He also consults on physician recruitment at Mohawk Valley Health Systems, a 3-campus system in Central New York.
Prior to these positions he was the fulltime Director of Physician Support Services at Mohawk Valley Health Systems for 8 years.
Adam is also a Registered Nurse and has served in this capacity at Update Medical Center in Syracuse, NY and been in charge of operations and case management at US Care Systems, Inc. a licensed Home Healthcare Agency.
Adam also has extensive experience in pharmaceutical sales and sales management. He is the Vice President of Upstate New York Physician Recruiters (UNIPER), and Co-chair of the Benchmarking Committee for Association of Staff Physician Recruiters) ASPR.
In 2012, Adam received his Fellowship from ASPR and received his Certified Medical Staff Recruitment designation.
When Adam is not encouraging physicians to join his team, you can find him playing golf, hockey or skiing depending on the season, and spending time with his family.
Adam resides in Clinton, NY with his wife Katie, son Gavin, and dog Max.
