Steve Jacobs, FASPR
Steve Jacobs has been a manager and director of physician recruiter for the past 14 years. He started his career as a physician recruitment consultant in 2003 before moving to an in-house position in 2008. Currently, Steve is a physician recruiter for WellSpan Health in York, PA. Over the years Steve has consulted with large hospitals, multi-specialty groups, single specialty practices and clinic systems throughout the US. His skillset includes physician recruiting, compensation analysis, immigration visa processing, contracting, social media, onboarding, retention, recruiting consultation, process analysis, medical staff development, and succession planning. In 2008 Steve became a member of the Association of Staff Physician Recruiters and achieved lifelong fellowship certification as an ASPR fellow in 2011. He is the co-chair of the ASPR Fellowship committee and is one of the members responsible for writing questions for the 201 module of the original fellowship exam and is now involved in the subsequent re-write of the module. Steve contributes articles to the ASPR journal and has written on topics ranging from interviewing to social media. Steve sits on the board of directors for the Mid-Atlantic Recruiters Association as a member at large and as a member of its membership committee. He is also involved in the inaugural mentorship program MAPRA has put together for its members. Steve has presented a variety of social media topics over the years. Notably at ASPR in New Orleans last year, PracticeMatch in New Orleans and Miami, MRRN in Lansing, MI, ASPR in Los Angeles and the Physician Recruitment & Retention Summit in Philadelphia. Steve has a Bachelor's degree in psychology from UC Irvine in Irvine, CA and a Master's degree in clinical psychology from Alliant University in San Diego, CA. Steve lives in Lititz, Pennsylvania with his wife of 16 years, Laura and their 3 children Lauren (20), Ben (16) and Emma (9).

Kate Kaegi is the Manager of Physician and Provider Recruitment for Dean Clinic, a large multi-specialty clinic based in Madison, Wisconsin. Kate has been with Dean Clinic for 34 years, and has been involved in physician and provider recruitment since 2000. Prior to working in physician and provider recruitment, Kate had a successful career in healthcare human resources, and served as President of the Wisconsin Medical Group Human Resources Association in 1999. Kate has been an active member of the Association of Staff Physician Recruiters, and the Wisconsin Staff Physician Recruiters for fifteen years. During Kate’s time as an ASPR member, she has served as a member of the ASPR Newsletter Committee (now JASPR). Kate earned her FASPR designation in 2010, and is currently a member and co-chair for the Fellowship Committee.
