NEW THIS YEAR! Run/Walk in ASPR’s First 5K!
Bring your running shoes to the ASPR Annual Conference this year as we’ll be hosting our first 5k! ASPR will be donating all 5k registration amounts directly to the St. Bernard Project. Our keynote presenter on Monday, May 16, Lt. General Russel Honoré, USA (Ret.), is directly affiliated with the St. Bernard Project and will help ASPR present the check to this group. Registration rates are $25.00. If you are unable to participate in the actual run/walk, but still want to donate, please consider donating (see button below) to this great cause.
About St. Bernard Project
SBP is a non-profit rebuilding organization whose mission is to shorten the time between disaster and full recovery by ensuring that disaster-impacted communities recover in a prompt, efficient and predictable manner. SBP started in 2006 after Hurricane Katrina with a handful of volunteers rebuilding one house. Since then, SBP's nationally recognized rebuilding model has made them the go-to organization for post-disaster response, like tornado-devastated Joplin, MO and Hurricane Sandy-impacted areas of New York and New Jersey. Last year, SBP started rebuilding in flood-impacted San Marcos, Texas, and Hurricane Joaquin-impacted Columbia, South Carolina. SBP has rebuilt over 620 homes in New Orleans and over 1,000 homes nationwide.
In New Orleans, SBP has over 100 clients on our waiting list who are still waiting to bring their families home. They cannot afford to rebuild without our help. Together we can help bring a family one day closer to home!
