Welcome to the new ASPR website! The Board of Directors and the members of the Website Committee have been working on the reconstruction of our website for many months. Our goal was to provide members with more resources than ever before, and to organize them so that even the not-so-computer-savvy could find what they need. I feel we have accomplished this, thanks to the vision of our ASPR members and the talents of the staff at Voyager IT, our design firm. We should also thank the members of our Membership and Marketing Committee for our new logo and branded colors that have provided us with a much brighter site that is easier to read. I am sure you will discover some new features, such as this blog and our new interactive map that allows you to connect to regional physician recruiting organizations in your area. You may also rediscover some old resources that you might not have used in awhile, such as our resource library or our Journal archive.

In addition to better serving our members, we feel our new website will be more accessible for job-seeking physicians and our corporate partners. Physicians now have a section all their own to easily connect with a recruiter in their preferred location and to browse jobs our members have posted via our partnership with PracticeLink. Corporate partners also have a portal where they can easily access information about sponsorships and the registration forms they need to participate.

I hope you will take some time to browse ASPR’s new home on the internet and tell us what you think of the changes. We would love to hear what works well and what could be improved. I invite everyone, the blog-experienced and those like me who will be plunging in for the first time, to post their opinions here.
