ASPR Fellowship Committee update

The ASPR Fellowship Committee is pleased to see more of our members pursuing Fellowship Certification. As a certified Fellow of ASPR (FASPR), you demonstrate to your peers, employer and physicians your commitment to continuing education and excellence in the discipline of physician recruitment. Through our educational program, you’ll gain the knowledge, understanding and tools to attract, recruit and retain physicians who are valuable assets to your organization. Currently, 170 members have been designated as Associates (AASPR), 47 members have been designated as Diplomates (DASPR), and 120 members have obtained Fellow Certification (FASPR).

Get a jump start on the Fellowship Certification program before the Annual Conference by taking the Physician Recruitment 101 Module via the on-demand webinar series. Get the Associate designation under your belt and be prepared to take Physician Recruitment 201 and/or 301 at the 2013 Annual Conference in Tucson! The Fellowship Committee is planning to offer Physician Recruitment 201 as a webinar series by the end of 2013, and 301 will also be available in the future.

The Fellowship Committee has devoted substantial time and energy to the process of rewriting all three exams. This work has been ongoing throughout 2012, with volunteer members meeting regularly in the evenings and on weekends. The new exams will be ready for use in late spring. The Committee is excited to roll out the new exams. It will be worth the wait!
