Register today for this FREE webinar held May 8 at 1:00 PM EST. Can’t make it? View it later On Demand!

Speaker: Heidi Christianson, Attorney, Nilan Johnson

This webinar will educate you regarding the most common types of antitrust concerns that you should be aware of as an in-house physician recruitment professional. ASPR has recently required re-registration for the Chat listserv with a focus on educating members on antitrust issues. Many members have questions about what is and is not ok and legal to ask others electronically (Chat), at meetings, on the telephone, etc…regarding physician compensation and benefits packages and other related questions.

This webinar will discuss the most common “off limit” topics of discussion, the types of activity against which regulators have taken action, and penalties for engaging in antitrust behavior. We will discuss hypotheticals to bring this topic to life. Learn how to protect yourself, your employer, and ASPR by becoming educated on antitrust and what you can and cannot discuss with others.

May Webinar: Advancing Your Onboarding Efforts

Onboarding has become the new need – to quickly integrate those new physician recruits into the inner workings of the organization. Then to get them busy as soon as possible, grow satisfaction and build loyalty.

Early onboarding programs need to focus on tightly managing all of the start-up logistics such as credentialing, scheduling and welcoming events, the goal is to advance those efforts into the strategic and relational aspects needed to engage the new physician and build up their practice. Then there are the communication and reporting components necessary to validate that onboarding is more than a nice thing to do – it is critical to ensure the organization minimized practice subsidies, turnover rates and recruitment costs.

This webinar will focus on those onboarding aspects that take the program from beginner to the advanced level. The basics will be reviewed only to set the stage. This session is really designed for a more in-depth look at how some organizations are evolving their efforts to demonstrate value and success. Whether you are manage on-boarding full time or lead it in conjunction with other responsibilities, the examples shared in this session will give you some great tips on how to improve your present program and take it to the next level.

Learning Objectives

  • Showcase ways in which organizations – both within and outside of the industry – are making their onboarding efforts more robust and impactful.
  • Learn the core elements that new physician practices need – beyond the basic orientation – to ensure their practice is developed successfully.
  • Understand the importance of decentralizing the onboarding work to multiple areas of the organization so as to integrate the value of onboarding throughout the organizational culture.
  • Review the measurement tools that will gauge and track onboarding results – both to the new physician and to the organization.
  • Gain tips and techniques for integrating leadership of onboarding into other mission critical responsibilities.
