ASPR Annual Conference Accommodations Update
We’d like to provide you with an update regarding hotel availability for the 2013 ASPR Annual Conference. The room block at the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort has reached capacity on most nights. ASPR has made arrangements with the Starr Pass Golf Suites as well as the Marriott Tucson University Plaza for additional accommodations. Transportation will be provided from both locations.
The room block at Starr Pass Golf Suites includes standard studio rooms ($110/night plus taxes) as well as one bedroom suites ($130/night plus taxes). The Starr Pass Golf Suites are located on the JW Starr Pass Resort property, just one mile from the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa, with shuttle transportation offered regularly between the two. The Starr Pass Golf Suites offers a restaurant, pool, and gym and is the site of the clubhouse for the resort. If you’d like to reserve a room at the Starr Pass Golf Suites please call 520-670-0500 or reserve online.
The room block at the Marriott Tucson University Plaza includes a standard room rate of $149/night plus taxes. The hotel is located in downtown Tucson, just 10 minutes from the airport and within walking distance of over 30 restaurants, shops, museums, and the University of Arizona. This hotel also offers a pool and gym onsite. ASPR has arranged for ample transportation to and from the conference site (just a 15 minute ride). This hotel offers the best of both worlds – easy access to the downtown amenities with free and convenient transportation to the conference programs and events! If you’d like to reserve a room at the Marriott Tucson University Plaza please reserve online.
Hotel availability at the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort may change between now and the conference, so please check in with them from time to time to see if rooms have become available. Please also note that the Resort Fee at the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort has been waived per our contract. If you are charged this fee, please remind the hotel representative that our room block has eliminated that fee for our attendees.
If you have any questions or run into any issues booking your room for the 2013 ASPR Annual Conference, please contact Carissa Broderick at email@example.com. We look forward to seeing you in Tucson!
